cadelinha encontrada no bairro Santa Cruz - Cuiabá em 31/12/11-procura-se o dono!!

english mobile

PETA -- A new year for animals starts with you

Time's running out! Make a special tax-deductible donation of $25 or more to help PETA's fight for all animals and receive our 2012 'Rescued' calendar. Donate Now!
Dear Anne,

There's still time to make 2012 a brighter year for all animals. Please make a tax-deductible donation today to help PETA stop animal abuse and suffering in the new year and beyond.

It's not too late! When you donate online today with a gift of $25 or more, not only will you get a tax deduction for 2011, you'll also receive a 2012 "Rescued" calendar, our small way of saying thanks to friends like you.

PETA is an unparalleled force working for the rights of all animals. Our more than 3 million members and supporters make possible all our efforts for animals big and small—dogs, elephants, rabbits, chickens, chimpanzees, cats, mice, and all the other living, feeling animals who share this world with us. Without compassionate supporters like you, these animals wouldn't have PETA to expose and pursue those who would harm them.

In 2011, we conducted groundbreaking undercover investigations, including the one that led to the seizure of hundreds of animals from a hoarder. We stopped painful and crude animal experiments by the U.S. Army, NASA, and others, saving thousands of animals' lives as a result. We helped to get major fines assessed against abusers of elephants and other animals in the entertainment industry. We successfully pushed designers and companies, including Mango, to stand up against the exotic-skins and fur trades, and PETA responded to thousands of individual calls to help animals in need.

But PETA is only as strong as our base of members and supporters like you. I want to thank you for your activism, compassion, and support. I hope that today, you'll resolve to make the world a kinder place for animals by making a special year-end gift right now.

Together, we can work to end the suffering and abuse of animals in the new year and beyond.

Thank you for all that you do for animals.

Kind regards,
Ingrid Newkirk
Ingrid E. Newkirk
President

P.S. Please make your gift before midnight tonight to support PETA's lifesaving work for all animals—if you do, it will be tax-deductible for 2011. In appreciation, we'll send you a special gift, a way to highlight your commitment to make the world a more compassionate place. Happy New Year!

Hi Anne,

Tourism is booming in Kenya, which is excellent news for the country's economy. But even as tourists flood the country, developers are ravaging the habitats of endangered sea turtles.

Protect Kenyan sea turtles today. »

Legal and illegal developments are springing up all along the coast, spoiling what were once pristine beaches and ruining turtle nesting grounds.

Turtles already face tremendous threats, from pollution, climate change, hunting, egg collection and plastic waste. The last thing they need is to lose yet more nesting grounds.

Kenya needs to look after its ocean wildlife, as much for the sake of its own future economy as for the wildlife itself.

Call on Kenya to promote sustainable tourism before it's too late. »

Thanks for taking action!

Kathleen
