This horrific annual spectacle — the world's largest commercial slaughter of marine mammals — will continue unless more people like you speak out and take action to stop it. Won't you please take these two quick actions for seals today? Support our work to stop the cruel seal slaughter and fur trade by making as generous a donation as you can afford right now. Respeitosamente, rogamos a Vossa Excelência que acabe com essa "diversão" tão cruel, selvagem e primitiva. Que reveja com atenção e SERIEDADE o abaixo escrito com todo o coração pela nobre protetora. Os animais já está mais que comprovado em nossa Era que são seres sencientes que nem nós humanos, com capacidade para sentirem  dor, medo, alegria, calor, frio, estresse e até saudade; sofrem da mesma forma, pois a dor é a mesma, além de terem sua inteligência. Nós que fomos privilegiados com o raciocício e a fala temos o DEVER DE CUIDAR E ZELAR POR NOSSOS ANIMAIS, E A OBRIGAÇÃO DE RESPEITÁ-LOS!
Os ANIMAIS enxergam a nós humanos como seus "deuses", o que os torna na escala da evolução espiritual HUMANOS, pois "...DIVIDEM CONOSCO O PRIVILÉGIO DE TER UMA ALMA". ESSAS CRUELDADES SÓ ATRASAM AINDA MAIS A EVOLUÇÃO DA HUMANIDADE!!!
Portanto, em nosso Mundo Globalizado não existe mais espaço pra essas práticas cruéis de divertimentos.

March 29, 2011 Dear Anne, Every year, I document Canada's commercial slaughter of baby harp seals to expose the largest slaughter of marine mammals in the world. But this year we're witnessing a disaster of a different kind -- climate change is causing the ice to melt rapidly, and hundreds of thousands of baby seals are drowning. Take immediate action to save seals» Harp seals need sea ice to give birth to and nurse their young. Without it, pups can’t survive, and in some places not a single baby seal is left. And here’s what’s worse: The Canadian government is STILL allowing the sealers to slaughter what few surviving pups they can find. On Friday, it announced that it will allow the killing of 468,200 harp, hooded, and grey seals -- a total increase of 80,000 seals from 2010. Please urge Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper to call off the slaughter» This year's quota is the highest since the Canadian government set rules on how many seals could be killed, on par with kill levels of the 1950s and 60s when sealers reduced the harp seal population by as much as two-thirds.
